Office of Grants and Funded Programs oversees and administers funding allocations to the private schools. Over 15 Stamford private schools receive funding from federal grants such as Title I, Title IIA , Title IID, Title III, Title IV and Title V. Their needs and requests are coordinated into the Consolidated Application that is submitted to the State Department.

Under Title I guidelines, Stamford Public Schools (Local Education Agency/LEA) must provide equitable educational services and benefits to eligible students enrolled in private elementary and secondary schools, as compared to the services provided to public school students.

Stamford Public Schools is required to engage in timely and meaningful consultation with appropriate private school officials during the design and development of a program for eligible private school students.
