The Strategic Plan is a product of a year of analysis and public input about important issues facing the Stamford Public Schools and sets clear targets and expectations for every school, program and department. It reflects the community and the Board of Education's desire to see children achieve at the highest academic level possible and enables schools to meet No Child Left Behind regulations.

The Strategic Plan reinforces the Board of Education's five goals, which call for the Stamford Public Schools to increase academic achievement of all students, address the Achievement Gap increase the meaningful engagement of all families and the community, provide all students with a world-class professional staff, and maintain efficient and effective operations.
